By Christmas 2008, a change could be seen in Brooke.She was no longer the life of the party. The girl who once loved getting her picture taken, wanted nothing to do with it. At this time she could speak 3 words, (Bye,No, and Puppy). That would change soon after in 2009. She mostly just said 'No', and nothing else. She was also withdrawing into her own little world. She still loved grandpa, and would throw severe tantrums when it came time to leave.
